About us
History
ESAPRO was established in 2009 as a spin-off of ESPE, a Venetian company active in the design and construction of electrical, technological and automation systems since 1980. Born to responds to the need of private, industrial and financial investors of having a single and highly specialised partner in the construction and management of large photovoltaic systems, both ground and roof-mounted.
In 2010, we established ESAPRO CONTROL. The company is managed entirely by ESAPRO and authorised by the Prefecture of Padua to provide 24/7 remote monitoring and alarm management services to protect renewable power plants and/or infrastructure throughout the country.
Since 2010, ESAPRO and ESAPRO CONTROL consolidated their presence on the national market and expanded their operations internationally: ESAPRO ROMANIA was established in 2011.
In 2017, ESAPRO HOLDING was established, taking over ESPE shares of ESAPRO, ESAPRO CONTROL and ESAPRO ROMANIA. This was made possible thanks to the initiative of L&B Capital – Investment Company focused on the renewable and efficient energy sectors.
Today
ESAPRO is one of the major players in Italy and Romania in the design, construction, maintenance of PV power plants, security systems and CCTV. The group’s portfolio covers over 600 MW, with approximately 200 large-scale ground-mounted and industrial rooftop photovoltaic systems, 150 small-scale wind turbines and 3 hydroelectric power plants with a total installed power of 17 MW.
ESAPRO CONTROL protects and safeguards the assets of over 50 clients including private entrepreneurs, industrial groups, financial investors, with over 100 MW-size and multi-MW ground-mounted photovoltaic systems all over the country, corresponding to approximately 250 MW of capacity.
